Steve VanWinkle, Director of Elder Law Services

Steve VanWinkle's practice at The Wiewel Law Firm emphasizes Elder Law as well as traditional Wills and Trusts. He is the Director of Elder Law Services for the firm.

Throughout his years as an attorney, Steve has practiced in elder law, estate planning and probate, church law, family law, along with real estate and construction law. He has been practicing law since 1979; first with a major oil company in Houston, Texas, and since 1982 in private practice in Austin. A graduate of South Texas College of Law, he is also a graduate of Evangel University with honors, and is nearing completion of a master's degree in Bible/Theology.

Steve has been married to Julie for over 27 years and they have three children: Stephanie, Priscilla, and Timothy. His interests include teaching, golf, and church leadership.
